Polycarbonate lenses are also lighter than normal plastic or glass lenses.
In addition to that, they automatically adapt to the ambient light by changing their tint. In low light conditions, approx. 68-70% of the visible light is absorbed. If the environment is bright, the tint filters up to 90% of the visible light. The harmful UV rays are always effectively blocked.
