The Magnus Seamaster spinning rods are fast all-rounders, specifically developed for fishing with soft plastic lures for halibut, cod, coalfish, and similar target fish. Their compact design and enormous power also make them the ideal companion for light jigging from a boat with weights up to 160 grams – especially in low drift conditions and depths up to around 50 meters. Even fishing with herring and mackerel rigs is extremely effective with these models.
This exceptional rod series is your ideal partner for demanding spin fishing for coalfish, lingcod, cod, ling, and halibut. The sensitive tip action of each rod guarantees precise lure control and excellent bite detection. This allows you to present your vertically offered bait super naturally in the various water layers. The 20lbs version offers optimal conditions for using various artificial lures or natural bait rigs weighing up to 300g in shallower areas with a maximum depth of 50 meters. For fishing with light jigs and natural baits up to 500g in medium depths around 100 meters, the versatile 30lbs version is the best choice. All Magnus Seamaster Jigging rods are equipped with a Pac-Bay cross-gimbal including an EVA end cap. Due to the special lowrider guide configuration, we recommend using a multiplier reel.
