Weighing just 190 g (including strap) and with an anatomical fit, it offers maximum wearing comfort. Not least because of its elasticated and adjustable waist strap, which is fastened with Velcro and can be removed in no time at all if necessary. The elasticated belt is particularly advantageous when deep wade fishing, as it allows the basket to move from the hip to the chest (and back) in a matter of seconds. Also very practical are the 12 holes in the base, which help water to drain quickly from the basket. The front edge of the line basket is also slightly raised so that less water can penetrate. The line basket is made from a thick, robust foam that has a strong buoyancy in the water and allows the line basket to float like a Korkers. In contrast to comparable models, however, the individual parts of this line basket are not simply glued together, but fused together. This ensures greater stability and ultimately a longer service life. Apart from the high-quality workmanship, the line shoots out easily thanks to 14 elastic 'spikes' and is laid just as neatly when stripping in. A rod rest rounds off the package of useful features and becomes important at the latest when hand-landing a large fish (whether pike or mefo). The Sondergaard ECOastal Stripping Basket is a very well thought-out aid for wade fishing. You can clearly see that passionate sea trout fishermen were at work here.
