The XPS Competition Hooks from Soldarini were developed for demanding fishing at competition level and in such a way that they penetrate the fish's mouth easily and remain securely and stably in place throughout the entire fight.

The extremely sharp "Eagle Beak" point penetrates cleanly and can be easily removed again - also due to the lack of a barb. Like the other Soldarini hooks, this model is also manufactured in Japan to the highest quality standards and offers a very strong wire - so you don't have to worry even when fighting large brown trout. The universal shape of the bend and shank allows the tying of many typical wet flies. Thanks to the open hook bend, this model is particularly suitable for patterns with body hackles.
