The Scott GT Series fly rod represents the modern evolution of one of the most iconic fly rod series ever, combining traditional feel with the latest high-end technology. Building on the legendary G Series, the GT Series has been designed to be lighter, more dynamic and more precise without losing the signature smooth progressive action that Scott has been known for decades.

The result is an exceptionally sensitive rod with direct feedback that reliably transmits even the smallest movements while optimally protecting the finest leaders. The GT rods impress with a deep-loading action and a sensitive tip, making them particularly suitable for precise presentations at short to medium distances. However, with a Head Length in the fly line and a coordinated weight, long, powerful casts can be practised equally well.

At the same time, modern materials and the advanced X-Core design ensure a significantly higher recovery speed and line control than classic rods. At the heart of the series are extremely thin-walled blanks, combined with multi-modulus carbon and ARC2 fibres, which ensure maximum stability, clean line control and high precision. This is complemented by newly developed, lighter connectors that work harmoniously with the blank and create an almost continuous bending behaviour. • X-Core: X-Core is the centrepiece of the GT series and stands for extremely thin-walled, lightweight blanks with maximum feel. State-of-the-art composite technologies and optimised tapers create a rod that perfectly combines stability and sensitivity and transmits even the finest movements directly.

• ARC2: The advanced ARC2 technology uses multidirectional carbon fibres to increase stability and torsional stiffness without adding weight. The result is significantly more precise line control, better Loop control and noticeably higher casting accuracy.
• Multi-Modulus: The targeted use of different carbon modules along the blank means that the bending and recovery behaviour is precisely controlled. As a result, the rod loads particularly smoothly and unloads in a controlled manner, which ensures a harmonious casting feel.
• ReAct Technology: This technology reduces unwanted vibrations in the blank and increases the reset speed at the same time. This stabilises the line faster without making the rod stiffer - for more control, feel and precision when casting. Hollow Internal Ferrule: The newly developed, hollow connector is significantly lighter and more flexible than classic ferrules. It works in sync with the blank and ensures almost continuous bending behaviour, making multi-piece rods feel like one-piece rods.
• Thin Wall Blank Construction: The combination of X-Core, Multi-Modulus and ARC2 creates the thinnest wall blanks Scott has ever built. This construction significantly improves feedback, weight and performance and takes the GT series to a new level.
• Carbon Link / Resin System: A highly developed resin system connects the carbon fibres in a particularly dense structure. This reduces weight, increases durability and at the same time improves casting performance and efficiency. Natural Finish: The unpolished blank retains its natural structure, which means that the outer power fibres are not damaged. The result is a lighter, more robust and more durable rod with an authentic look.
