All Absolute monofilament leaders from Scientific Anglers are made from a special nylon blend that drastically reduces the absorption of water while ensuring optimum suppleness for high knot strength. Absolute nylon leaders and tippets have a 29% higher wet knot strength compared to previous Scientific Anglers materials and up to 40% higher wet knot strength compared to many other products on the market. The new Absolute range from SA comes with environmentally friendly paper-based packaging and is now 100% recyclable. All materials, colours and other components of the packaging are fully biodegradable to protect our rivers and oceans and reduce our ecological footprint.
The Absolute Bonefish Leader is 10 ft. (3.05 m) long and is particularly suitable for tropical fishing for the 'Silver Ghost'. It unwinds very well and transports a Gotcha, Crazy Charly or any other weighted saltwater pattern for bonefish with ease. The nylon mix is medium stiff and therefore supports a precise presentation at all casting distances - even in strong winds. A real all-round leader for flats fishing, which can be extended with a fluorocarbon or nylon tip using a blood knot if required. The strong butt section of the dragged leader ensures that the energy from the cast is perfectly absorbed. In a nutshell: The perfect monofilament drag leader for your next trip to warm saltwater!
