The Patagonia Nano Puff Jacket combines warmth, weather protection, and sustainable materials in a lightweight, compact design that is perfect for active fly fishing and almost any other outdoor activity.
Originally developed for climbers, it offers weather-resistant, packable, synthetic insulation that stays reliably warm even when wet and withstands the demands of years of use. The outer material made from lightweight ripstop fabric and the lining are 100% recycled polyester, treated with a durable water repellent (DWR) finish without PFAS to keep out light rain and moisture.
Inside, the 60 g/m² PrimaLoft® Gold Insulation Eco made from 100% postconsumer recycled polyester with P.U.R.E.™ technology provides an excellent warmth-to-weight ratio. The signature brick quilting pattern with horizontal side panels stabilizes the insulation, prevents cold spots, and creates a slim, low-bulk silhouette that easily layers with other clothing. Improved shoulder panels, ergonomically shaped elbows, and an optimized fit allow maximum freedom of movement and high wearing comfort.
Practical details such as a front zipper with an internal wind flap, two zippered handwarmer pockets, an internal chest pocket that doubles as a stuff sack, and a reinforced carabiner loop make this jacket a versatile companion. A slightly longer drop-tail hem with adjustable drawcord reliably seals in warmth.
