The Micro Puff® Hoody from Patagonia has the best warmth-to-weight ratio of any insulated jacket on the market. This ultra-lightweight, water-repellent jacket is insulated with PlumaFill synthetic fibres, a revolutionary material that is almost as light and warm as down. This makes this jacket ideal as an insulating layer under a wading jacket or as an outer layer on dry days.

The Patagonia Micro Puff® Hoody combines outstanding thermal performance with minimal weight and maximum packability. Its ultralight, windproof Pertex® Quantum outer material is made from 100% NetPlus® recycled nylon, which is obtained from used fishing nets and thus contributes to reducing plastic pollution in the oceans. A durable water-repellent impregnation without the use of PFAS protects against moisture. Inside, the innovative PlumaFill insulation made from recycled polyester provides a warmth-to-weight ratio equivalent to that of down, but with the robustness of a synthetic filling. The special quilted construction optimally secures the insulation fibres and reduces cold bridges to a minimum. For comfort and functionality, the jacket is equipped with a front zip with storm flap and chin guard. Two piped handwarmer pockets with zip and two spacious inner pockets offer practical storage space; the left outer pocket also serves as an integrated pannier with carabiner loop. Elasticated cuffs and an adjustable hem keep the warmth close to the body, while the sporty cut allows full freedom of movement - even when wearing a rucksack or climbing harness.
