Product information "Patagonia Down Sweater Jacket FEG"
Even icy cold and snow can't stop you from going to the water? Then the Down Sweater from Patagonia is just the thing for you!
This down jacket retains your body heat thanks to 800-fill-power certified down, a quilted construction and a super-lightweight, robust and windproof ripstop fabric made from 100% recycled polyester with a PFC-free DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish. The jacket has two zipped handwarmer pockets (in which the drawcord hem can be adjusted) and a zipped inner chest pocket, which also serves as a pack sack and has a loop for the carabiner.
With Patagonia's feather-light, fantastically warm and compressible Down Sweater, cold snaps are no longer a problem. This down jacket is so functional that we not only wear it on the fishing water, but also in everyday life.
- NetPlus: Our beloved oceans and habitat for many fish that are at the top of our list as anglers, such as the GT or tarpon, are suffocating in plastic waste. An estimated 8.8 million tonnes of plastic waste is thrown into the oceans every year and fishing nets are one of the most harmful forms of this pollution. Around 650,000 marine animals become entangled in these ghost nets every year. This makes the use of NetPlus materials in Patagonia products all the more important. NetPlus material is a recycled nylon material that is obtained from fishing nets that are no longer used. The NetPlus material is obtained by working closely with fishermen to keep or remove hundreds of tonnes of discarded nets from the sea each year. The nets are sorted, cleaned and shredded in Chile and then processed into 100% recycled nylon pellets, known as NetPlus. These pellets can then be processed into moulded plastic products, components or fibres and find a new, sustainable use!
