The SFT Stillwater Competition IM12 has been specially designed for demanding stillwater fishing and competition orientated use on the lake. Long casts are crucial here to reach cautious salmonids at great distances. The powerful, yet finely tuned blanks support even less experienced casters with extremely long casts. The long design allows more line to be held in the air in a controlled manner, while at the same time ensuring clean line guidance above the water surface.
The highly modulated IM12 carbon blank provides enormous power reserves with a fast, progressive retrieve speed. The result is a dynamic but controllable action with high precision and efficiency - even in windy or heavy stillwater situations. The rods have a four-piece design, making them particularly easy to transport. The high-quality features include slim, hard-chrome-plated stainless steel guides, a satin-finished aluminium reel seat in an up-locking design and an ergonomic full-wells cork handle made from natural Korkers with hybrid cork reinforcements in areas subject to stress. The rod is supplied in a sturdy transport tube with a compartmentalised inner case.
