The 6th generation of Litespeed fly reels from Lamson now sets new standards in terms of the ratio of retrieving speed to weight. This reel series is CNC-machined, with skilfully distributed material along the critical load paths, stable and strong, so light that you might forget it's even there. But at the same time so beautiful that you remember it. With this fly reel, WWL's reel makers have combined all their craftsmanship with the latest technology and the best materials. Litespeed M - The marine versions from the Litespeed series are designed for the many demanding applications in tropical climes (e.g. on Permit, Tarpon or GT) or for fishing in cold salt water, e.g. off the coast of Norway. The Litespeed M is equipped with a hybrid drag system that shares some elements of the Cobalt drag - fixed spindle, large heat-dissipating conical surfaces, click-stop drag knob. The LSM has close-tolerance composite bearings and is equipped with the same linear spring set as the LSF, optimised for the respective castor size. Like the popular Cobalt reel, the LSM is IPX8 waterproof to 100 feet. The LSM's frame and spool have the same open structure as the LSF, with an emphasis on greater rigidity and stability. So if you want to take on the strongest fighters in saltwater, this is the fly reel for you!

About Lamson:
Waterworks is immediately associated by most fly fishermen with the lightweight, reliable reels. Yet the origin of Waterkworks lies in a small, innovative tool.
