This prevents the fly materials from absorbing water, helping the fly stay afloat on the surface for an extended time — even after mending or in strong, turbulent currents. This floatant is truly versatile: it works not only on dubbing or feathers but also on special tying materials like CDC and foam!
The liquid is highly environmentally friendly and comes in a container specifically designed for dipping flies. Simply shake the container well, dip the fly into the wide opening, and let it dry on a paper towel for about 12 hours.
