The new Wing fly rod series from Greys is the new flagship of the popular manufacturer and an absolute highlight that will really shake up the fly fishing market. The Wing series is so broadly positioned that every fly fisherman can find the perfect rod for almost every conceivable application - and at a very affordable price, which is typical for Greys. Common to all models is the highly modulated carbon blank with Greys' own Powerlux matrix. This technology makes the blank particularly tensile while maintaining a slim diameter. The action and structure of each individual model have been specifically tailored to the respective area of use, which is clearly noticeable on the water.

Visually, the Wing series impresses with a modern, uniform and very elegant appearance. The matt carbon grey blank does not reflect light and therefore reduces the scaring effect in tricky conditions. Fine details in glossy red set elegant accents in the handle section. Ergonomically shaped handles made from high-quality Korkers and customised screw-in reel seats with double lock nuts round off the overall look in a functional and visually harmonious way.

The Wing Trout Spey combines the lightness and finesse of a trout or grayling rod with the construction and handling of a real two-handed rod. Its versatile action is specially designed for use with a wide variety of line types.

Whether with light integrated Scandi lines on local trout streams or with short shooting heads on sea trout and grilse in Scandinavia - the range of use of this 10.10 ft. #2 is much larger than you would initially expect. Thanks to its low weight, the rod is also ideal for one-handed casting. It is therefore not only suitable for classic WF lines, but also for modern nymphing techniques.
