The Future Fly MTF Tungsten Beads with a diameter of 4 mm are specially designed for tying tube flies. The extremely dense tungsten weight ensures that your flies sink particularly quickly, even in strong currents or deep pools. With an inner diameter of approx. 1.8 mm, the beads fit perfectly on tubes with an outer diameter of up to 1.8 mm, allowing flexible placement at the front, centre or back of the tube.
There are ten beads in the pack, allowing you to weight several flies efficiently. The high density of the material makes these beads significantly heavier than brass, which allows compact but powerful weighting without making the fly profile look unnecessarily bulky. Thanks to these properties, tungsten beads are particularly suitable for demanding fly tying where fast sinking and precise control over depth are crucial.
