With a length of 10ft, The Opti K2 is an ideal all-around rod for a variety of Nymphing techniques. The long, thin #3 blank has a mid-paced action with a sensitive tip, allowing not only long and clean drifts but also the ability to detect very cautious bites. Paired with a floating line, this rod can be used for dry fly fishing, offering the ability to easily mend long lengths of line - keeping your fly fishing for longer. Thanks to the down locking reel seat, the reel sits lower on the K2, helping the long rod achieve a nice balance. With a Loop Q 4/6 or a Loop Opti Dry Fly reel, you will get the perfectly balanced Loop kit, sure to outwit picky Trout, Grayling, and Barbel. Not only does the balanced reel contribute to the light-weight feeling, but the thin blank itself also weighs just 88g. One of the lightest nymph rods on the market!
Other features of the Loop Opti K2 Nymph include chrome-plated double-coil snake rings, a ceramic guide ring, a high-quality Half Wells cork grip, and a clean finish in a deep gunmetal gray.
