Hardy Ultraclick UCL Fly Reel

With the Ultraclick, Hardy presents the lightest fly reel that has ever left the gates of the traditional reel manufacture in Alnwick/England. The lightest model in the series weighs less than 60 g. Absolutely impressive, what the reel developers at Hardy have achieved here! This low weight is made possible by an innovative frame design, the highest quality materials and a new type of all-metal clicker system. Especially therefore this reel makes the hearts of minimalistic trout and grayling fishermen beat faster - and it is the perfect addition to the Hardy Ultralight fly rods. You can't get more filigree in the classes #1 to #6 on the fishing water.

The Ultraclick UCL fly reel from Hardy is not only extremely light, but also impresses visually with its innovative design, in which large parts of the frame have been cut out. We also particularly like the new Hardy click system. By means of a small wheel on the back of the reel you can adjust the resistance when pulling off the line, so that you are prepared for all situations of trout and grayling fishing. The gentle clicker supports fishing with thin leaders, which are (or must be) often used in the challenging fishing for trout and grayling in crystal clear rivers. The closed cage of the Ultraclick UCL is ideal for all fly fishermen who like to fish with long, very thin leaders - whether presenting filigree dry flies or nymphs in 'Euro Style'. Here you can be sure that your leader will not be squeezed between the cage and the spool and thus be damaged. The spool can be changed very quickly and intuitively thanks to the intelligent push-off solution. Ideal if you are on the water with several spools and different lines.

The design of the Hardy Ultraclick combines modern style and innovative technology and is incredibly light. Functional, noble and very high quality manufactured is the lightest fly reel ever made by Hardy, an absolute recommendation for ultra-light one-handed fishing. But not only for ultra-light fans is this well thought-out reel series a real pleasure. From us there is a clear recommendation to buy this reel!
