All Absolute monofilament leaders from Scientific Anglers are made from a special nylon blend that drastically reduces the absorption of water while ensuring optimum suppleness for high knot strength. Absolute nylon leaders and tippets have a 29% higher wet knot strength compared to previous Scientific Anglers materials and up to 40% higher wet knot strength compared to many other products on the market. The new Absolute range from SA comes with environmentally friendly paper-based packaging and is now 100% recyclable. All materials, colours and other components of the packaging are fully biodegradable to protect our rivers and oceans and reduce our ecological footprint.
The Absolute Trout Stealth Le ader is 9 ft. (2.74 m) long and is particularly suitable for fishing with dry flies, nymphs and streamers on streams and rivers. A real all-round leader! The special feature of this drawn leader is its olive-coloured tint, which minimises light reflections and reduces the scaring effect. The strong butt section ensures that the energy from the cast is perfectly absorbed. The progressive taper enables a harmonious roll-out and a delicate presentation. The material is particularly supple so that your fly lands on the water like a feather and you get a drag-free drift. In short: A very universal leader for trout, grayling and co. that can also be used wonderfully on crystal-clear lakes.
