The 4Cast+ from Guideline is the favorite line of Christopher Rownes - and is also one of our absolute favorites for Trout and Grayling fishing. If you're looking for an easy way to present your fly discretely, this line is your first choice! Because quite often a discreet service is what it comes down to if you want to outwit the better fish!Hardly any other floating line is as stable in the air and has a taper that is as harmonious as the 4Cast. Whether you're working with precise water contact casts in tight spaces and want to serve your dry fly with pinpoint accuracy under an overhanging branch, or need a long overhead cast with a tight loop to get your pattern on target: Guideline's 4Cast+ handles all requirements with flying colors. The proven smooth taper of this floating line is incredibly balanced and combines precision with impressive power. Not without reason, casting expert Chris Rownes uses this line for his casting demonstrations!
The taper structure of the new Guideline 4Cast+ Fly Line has remained exactly the same in terms of shape, but with significant improvements in performance, adjusted lengths and weights. The ratio of length to weight in the head of this line was again carefully selected to give the line more power and speed. In addition, the thickness of the handling zone and the running line has been increased, this has the great advantage that you can now also work with a little more line in the air than the actual head length. The line now works brilliantly even with a few extra meters (+), without the feeling that the line hangs a bit when too much line is out of the rod.
The Guideline 4Cast+ two-tone, durable coating allows you to more easily hit the exact spot to let it shoot. And thanks to the excellent floating properties, the line drifts high so you can mend it with precision and full control. The integrated, durable front loop makes it easy to quickly loop in and out of your leader. To us, this line is the epitome of an all-around line, making it an unrestricted choice for your creek, river, lake, and even coastal fishing. Because on a warm summer day with little wind, a discreet presentation is what you need to seduce a big Sea Run Brown Trout too.
