Guideline Fario DT Fly Line

A classic Double Taper concept, manufactured in a very modern way: the Guideline Fario DT.

Generally speaking, in contrast to WF lines, a DT line doesn’t have a thin running line. As soon as the belly of a WF line is a few meters away from the rod tip, power transmission and therefore control over the cast decreases. This is, when the concept of a DT line comes into play. Due to the continuous diameter after the front taper, these lines offer ideal power transmission, no matter how far the fly is away from the rod tip. For example, smooth and longer roll casts and false casts for an ideal presentation, way longer than the belly of a WF line, are possible.

Depending on the line class, the front taper of the Fario DT is between 4,0m and 4,6m long. This construction makes precise and controlled presentation at short and medium range possible and offers outstanding loop control.

Due to Guidelines ACT technology the Fario DT is impressively slick. The modern coating resolves in superb floatability, especially noticeable in the tip area. Furthermore, the ideal stiffness ratio between coating and core makes the Fario DT very valuable. Not only the coating, in fact the whole performance of this line can be describes as supremely smooth.
