The innovative Airflo Skagit represents the next generation of short Skagit heads, now featuring Airflo’s latest technologies such as Superflo.
Its unique design includes a short rear taper, a compact belly, and a front taper that is slightly longer than the rear taper. The tip of the front taper is designed to carry and turn over all types of leaders – from Polyleaders to T-Tips – with ease. This gives the shooting head maximum flexibility for adaptable setups and effective fishing, even with minimal backcasting space. Thanks to this design, it is surprisingly easy to cast, can handle larger flies, and is forgiving of imperfect anchors when space is tight.
In addition to the Superflo technology that provides outstanding floatation, these short heads also come with a low stretch core for direct contact and excellent strike detection, ultra-strong welded Power Loops on both ends, and a clearly marked line ID for easy identification.
