For years the name 'Zpey' has stood for innovative ideas and revolutionary concepts in rod building. The Zpey Ztealth Series is no exception and holds something special too: The key feature of these versatile switch rods is an interchangeable handle. You can choose if you want to use the Ztealth with an ordinary fighting butt for single-handed casting or you can transform it into a switch rod within seconds by assembling the famous Zpey bent handle. On the water you have many possibilities with these lightweight rods: It's a great tool to fish for Sea Run Brown Trout from an overgrown river bank. At the same time it's a powerful casting weapon to target aggressive Asp with poppers on the surface or to swing a big, weighted Trout streamer.
The rod's action is fast and powerful and the matte blank bends deep when loaded. You can shape tight loops and achieve high line speeds with ease. Still the tip offers great sensitivity to present your fly accurately and gently when needed. For the grip, Zpey uses an amazing mix of cork particles, resin and polyurethane which looks great, lasts longer, and is far more comfortable to hold than ordinary cork.
