The Zhooter is a WF fly line made by Zpey, the Danish experts in fishing for migratory fish like sea trout and salmon. Hence it does not surprise that these hybrid lines work great when Spey- and overhead casting. The compact belly in combination with a strong front taper results in ripping turnover, ideal for big (weighted) flies or windy conditions.
Classes #6 and #7 do a great job when fishing the surf under windy conditions for sea trout. Classes #8 and #9 easily transport even the largest flies and are a great choice for pike fishing and other predators in both fresh- and saltwater.
Originally the Zhooter WF lines have been designed with Spey-casting in mind and work excellently when Spey-casting for sea trout and salmon with single handed and light double handed rods.
Due to the slick coating the line floats high and glides through the guides without much friction. All lines come with welded loops on both ends. Overall a very versatile WF line with a powerful taper and great turnover for big flies, windy conditions and modern Spey casting.
