Product information "Whiting Hebert Miner Dry Fly Hackle Capes Bronze Full or Half"
The Hebert Miner series by Whiting is known for its beautiful natural colors such as cream, dun, and browns. Those who tie traditional patterns will love these capes! The feathers of these capes have a very special shine, that can truly take your patterns to the next level. This is a very gentle breed and the well-being of the chickens and roosters is reflected in the quality of the feathers. Especially for tying classic dry flies, there is nothing better than Whiting capes and saddles!
A short explanation of the Whiting classification system:
The quality of the capes and saddles are divided into Gold, Silver, Bronze and Pro Grade. Gold-quality Capes are very rare. Silver and Bronze are both more widely available and the quality of the individual feathers is quite similar. Silver has a slightly larger share of the smallest feathers. However, a Bronze cape still has a lot of small feathers suitable for tying the smallest dry flies!
In addition, the individual feathers of these capes are so long that they can usually tie multiple flies from a single hackle. The Bronze bellows and Pro Grade bellows simply offer an unbeatable price/performance ratio.
Once you've tied with Whiting feathers, you'll immediately be convinced and inspired by the legendary quality!
Available in whole or half capes!
