With the new Nymphomaniac Vision Fly-Fishing enters the market of dedicated nymphing rods while offering great performance and a functional design that reaches all the way from the butt cap to the tip-top. The sanded rod blanks of this series remain unvarnished to fully utilize the rods action and cutting down the weight. Therefore Nymphmaniac rods are very responsive and sensible – important when immediate fly contact after the cast and throughout the drift is essential to success! The rod tip has been designed to be sensitive and flexible with a fast recovery to improve bite detection and protect thin tippets when fighting strong fish. Despite the sensitive tip Nymphomaniac rods have plenty of power to quickly tire trophy size trout. In order to prevent reduce slack between the guides when fishing long leaders and thin fly lines these rods are equipped with an increased number of well positioned, lightweight single foot guides. The last running-guide is a thin-wired, light snake guide to prevent tangles near the rod tip. With a total weight of 76g (#3) at 10ft length Nymphmaniac rods are feather light and balance well with light reels already. Last but not least there are green wrappings along the blank and a mark on the handle to quickly measure fish up to 50cm.
