Daddy fly rods from Vision have been known for many years for their excellent value for money and high fun factor when fishing for pike and other predators. This tradition is also continued by the latest generation of Daddy Rods.
The Daddy rod series from Vision offers the right action for pike fishing: a medium-fast blank with decent reserves of power in the lower part to pump heavy fish to the surface and to carry large, bushy streamers through the wind. Visually, Vision has given the Daddy a complete makeover, which once again proves the Finnish rod makers' delight in bright colors. The blank now comes in a yellow and has black trim windings and highlights. The robust EVA handle remains, however, as it has established itself as the first choice for most pike junkis in recent years. All models are 4-piece and therefore ideal for transport or travel. The Daddy models are 9 ft. long and available in #8 (with a recommended head weight of 19g), #9 (with a recommended head weight of 21g) and #10 (with a recommended head weight of 23g). This covers the entire range of modern pike fishing.
