Product information "Umpqua Metz Betts Z-Lon Standard"

Umpqua Metz Betts Z-Lon Standard is a versatile, synthetic tying material for numerous insect patterns. Z-Lon is known for its fine, straight fibre structure and its slightly shimmering properties, making it ideal for realistic and lively fly patterns.

The long, straight fibres are ideal for the wings of spinners, Klinkhammer, Caddis-Emerger, as well as the tails of dry flies and emergers. Thanks to its structure, Z-Lon can also easily be used as a substitute for antron and ensures natural light refraction in the water.

The material is easy to work with, hardly absorbs any water and gives patterns just the right amount of transparency and movement and is suitable for both classic dry flies and modern emerger and nymph patterns.
