The Dolly Llama Mini is a modern streamer that was developed to realistically imitate small to medium-sized prey fish. Originally known from Alaska, the Dolly Llama is considered one of the most effective streamer patterns for trout, salmon and steelhead and has long since established itself as an absolute top fly in Europe too.
The special feature of this pattern is the combination of a heavy conehead and articulated design. As a result, the fly sinks quickly and at the same time develops an extremely lively, seductive action in the water. The body made of soft Rabbit Strip in combination with flash fibres ensures pulsating movements that are maintained even when the line is slow and provoke aggressive reactions.
The Dolly Llama Mini also shows its enormous strength with us: whether on brown trout when the water level is high, on sea trout when the water is slightly cloudy or on predatory fish in the river in general, this pattern is a real all-rounder.
