Montana Pro ATS wading boots were specifically developed for fly fishers who demand reliability, durability, and comfort while wading.
The model features a modern ATS lacing system that offers high wearing comfort as well as robust, fast, and user-friendly operation. The boot is closed using a large, durable dial that guides a stainless steel-coated cable through stable, low-friction guides. The tongue is reinforced with tough nubuck leather to support the system. To open the lacing, simply pull the dial backwards.
The upper material is made of thick nubuck leather, offering high durability, strength, and optimal ankle protection. Additional parts of the boot are made from water-repellent synthetic materials with a double-layered TPU coating. High-wear areas such as the ankles and toes are additionally reinforced. The heel area features an extra layer of extremely durable, thermo-formed rubber that protects the rear of the foot. The toes are secured with double TPU layers and a raised toe cap.
The special tongue design effectively prevents the entry of sand and gravel, which increases wearing comfort and prolongs the life of neoprene socks. A stainless steel D-ring on the tongue allows attachment of a gravel guard. The multi-layered sole with deep tread and wide base provides stability and optimal grip on various surfaces, increasing safety while wading. The midsole contains energy-absorbing polyurethane foam for shock absorption and joint protection. Reinforced inserts ensure secure spike attachment. The inner lining is padded with elastic foam, enhancing comfort and reducing foot fatigue during extended use. A robust pull loop on the heel makes putting on the boots easier. Delivery includes an ATS repair kit.
