The Traper Concept Sink Tip is a specially developed fly line designed for fishing in deep, fast-flowing rivers – but it is also perfectly suited for use in still waters, both from the shore and from a boat.
Its sophisticated construction combines different sink rates along the entire length of the line, offering exceptionally precise and controlled fly presentations. The line features a 14-foot (approx. 4.3 m) fast-sinking tip, followed by a 6-foot (approx. 1.8 m) intermediate middle section. The remaining part of the head and the running line are floating. This special triple structure allows the fly to rise vividly to the surface with each strip – an enticing movement that often provokes the crucial bite. Thanks to its smooth, durable coating, the Traper Concept Sink Tip glides effortlessly through the guides and allows long, accurate casts. Both ends of the line are equipped with sturdy loops, enabling quick and secure connection of backing and leader. For easy identification, the line class and type are printed directly on the front part of the head.
