The Italian manufacturer Textreme is known for innovative fly tying materials with an outstanding quality and good value for money. Glossy Pearl from Textreme is a durable flash with a width of 1/16" (approx. 1.5 mm) per strand. This makes this flash material suitable for a wide range of large streamers. As well as the obvious use in tying predator streamers and saltwater flies, you can also use Glossy Pearl Flash as a body material for baitfish patterns and others. To do this, simply take a single strand and wind it around the hook shank. The surface of the synthetic material in the colour pearl rainbow reflects the light in different shades depending on the angle and gives your pattern a great effect. With approx. 75 strands per pack, you can tie a lot of flies with this material!
