Temple Dog fur is a very soft and smooth natural fur that features a special structure and is perfectly tapered towards the tips. No other natural material offers that kind of movement in the current - even when used in small doses. This is why Temple Dog is used for many Salmon and Steelhead flies. As a wing, it adds a lively action to your pattern. In the beginning, it was Håkan Norling and Mikael Frödin who tied their salmon tubes and doubles with Temple Dog and a little later the hard-to-find material was in high demand by passionate Salmon fly tyers all over the world.

We're more than happy to offer Temple Dog in different sizes and with a wide range of natural and vibrant colors. The quality is outstanding and will last for many effective flies! Size Extra Large features fibers with a length of approximately 8 - 13cm. Also available in sizes M and XL.
