Graphite Métal Tresse is no ordinary wire to tie a leader for pike, barracuda or any other toothy predator. What's so special and innovative about this product? It combines two different materials: The core is made from Gel-Spun, a very durable and abrasion resistant braid line. Over the top of this, stainless steel is braided. The result of this unique construction is a very supple material mix allowing you to use any kind of knot to attach a streamer or connect your bite protection to your nylon or fluorocarbon leader directly (e.g. with a uni knot, blood knot, perfection loop or albright knot). There is no need for crimps or tools anymore!
Due to its flexibility, suppleness and ultra fine diameter Graphite Métal Tresse allows your stramer to move more freely. At the same time it doesn't deter fish like other wire leaders. In contrast to hard-mono it's much more bite and abrasion resistant too. And last but not least: It doesn't kink! Even if you miss the sudden attack of a pike once, your leader stays straight and you keep direct contact to your lure.
Many French and Dutch pike maniacs rely on this specific material already when it comes to tying own leaders. No surprise for us, regarding all the advantages this wire provides.
