These premium fur pieces derive from wild, adult animals of the Italian Alps and thus feature a very dense, robust fur superior both in quality and sustainability. After a long, difficult search to acquire this material the hairs are washed, disinfected and packed without dying or use of colorants. Remaining in its natural beauty these furs are highly thought after tying materials for dry flies, streamers, muddler heads and even nymphs.
SwissCDC Italian Style Inverno is a finely rippled hair with a length of up to 8 cm. Due to its length it has the ideal properties for large dry flies, streamer- and muddler head as well as extended bodies and tails of big Ephemera may fly patterns. These large fur pieces of approximately 7 x 7 cm produce a large number of flies.
