By using Japanese high-performance carbon in combination with innovative aramid fibers, Sportex has managed to reduce weight and diameter. These aradmid fibers in the blank ensure that the blank is slim and light, yet has incredible tensile strength. The result is rods specially adapted to modern pike fishing - with about 20 percent faster, significantly slimmer and much lighter semi-parabolic blank. This is clearly felt under high load or extreme acceleration. Because the rod loads efficiently and is incredibly accurate within the casting weight tolerance. The tip is deliberately kept light and sensitive, so that bites can be perfectly detected and the bait can be animated precisely. Especially when fishing for zander, this feature is incredibly important to react accurately. The lower part of the rod is significantly stronger and provides appropriate power reserves and lifting power.
