Daiwa TD Trout Area Commander Spinning Rod

The Team Daiwa Trout Area Commander rod is an ultra-light spinning rod designed specifically for trout, perch and chub fishing in small rivers, streams and trout lakes. This modern specialist rod range offers models for close range fishing in small ponds and rough terrain as well as rods to deliver very light spoons or mini plugs at long distances, while still being very accurate. The rod has a special grip with an original Fuji Skeleton reel seat that allows direct contact with the blank. This makes lure movements and fine bites particularly noticeable. The blank is made of HVF carbon fibre and is equipped with a high-quality EVA handle and Seaguide Zirconia rings.

The Trout Area models with a casting weight of 0.5-5 g have a spliced-in solid carbon fibre tip, which gives them a softer tip action. This so-called solid tip can be bent almost in a circle without breaking, so that even the finest bites can be detected and the casting characteristics are incomparable when used with ultra-light spoons.

The models with a casting weight of 1-6 g have a tubular tip, which makes them a little faster and firmer. This means that, in addition to spoons, small softbaits and plugs can also be animated very nicely, even in light current.
