The fairly young Swiss rod building company Bullseye Fishing was "only" founded in 2014, but already enjoys an impeccable reputation and is particularly known for its innovative rods and renowned technologies. The man behind the brand, Markus von Euw, has been a successful tournament angler for many years and brings a huge amount of experience on board, much of which he naturally contributes to the development of the rods. The Dentist 300 50-165 g is specially designed for spin fishing for large predatory fish. Particularly in the focus of development was the fishing on our largest native salmonids, the huchen, as well as its cousins the Taimen. Of course, the Dentist is first and foremost a predator rod and is also ideal for fishing for large pike and catfish.

The two-piece blank with a length of 300 cm and a casting weight of 50-165 g is perfect for fishing with large baits from the shore. The length of the rod is a clear advantage when fishing for huchen, both with near-bottom techniques such as jig or huchen braid, and when fishing close to the surface with plugs and mouse. The 3m length gives you a perfect line angle and you can easily keep plenty of line out of the water to control your drift. Your lure will drift more naturally and the bite detection will be more accurate. So you can set a hard-hitting stroke without delay. Thanks to this length it can also be fished super over shore vegetation and stone packs.

The blank has a very progressive action, after the slightly softer tip makes the rod evenly "closed". Power without end, therefore, the hit sits uncompromisingly in the hard Huchenmaul, even at a distance. Thanks to the strong backbone, even large predators can be well controlled and safely landed even in strong currents. At the same time, the slightly softer tip makes it possible to achieve very long casts even with lighter baits. The sensitive tip also makes plugs run extremely seductively even at low speeds and follow every movement of the bait.

As usual from Bullseye, the components were put together with the highest quality and functionality in mind. The high-quality EVA handle provides a secure grip for casting, bait guidance, strike and drill and is comfortable in the hand even in the iciest temperatures! The ergonomic Foregrip is deliberately chosen a little longer to get the necessary leverage for the Anhieb. This was also slightly thickened to lie even better in the hand. About the included counterweights you can balance the rod perfectly. The back grip is nice and long to catapult even heavy baits to the horizon thanks to the lever. Thickening on the butt allows the hand to glide automatically to the casting position. All these little things make fishing for hours in the cold much more relaxed.

For the perfect fit of your large predator reel provides a Fuji DPS 18 reel seat, which was wonderfully incorporated into the handle. Smooth line running is made possible by the sturdy Fuji K SS Alconite Guides. The tip ring in size #10 and the starter in #30 ensure a perfect flow of the line, allow maximum casting distances and do not ice up so quickly in cold weather.
