They are available in 3 different lengths, each with different finishes:

• 270cm // 7-30g: The 270 cm version with a casting weight of 7-30 g is the shortest version of this gorgeous sea trout rod. It carries all sea trout lures to unimagined distances and provides enough backbone for even the largest salmonids. The tip records every twitch and confidently prevents dropouts in the drill. In addition, this rod can also be used for targeted trout fishing in freshwater. For example, with Sbirolinos at the trout lake or on lake-run trout in the Alps. It is two-piece and has a transport length of 140 cm.

• 300 cm // 7-30 g or 10-40 g: The 300 cm model comes in two versions: With a casting weight of 7-30 g, the lighter version of the two rods is the most versatile rod in the series. It casts all common and normal sea trout lures such as blinkers, wobblers, inlines and Sbirolino rigs and does so with incredible sensitivity. It is even a tad tighter than the shorter variant, but also prevents the dropout of a hooked fish by its unique action. The slightly heavier variant with a casting weight of 10-40 g is designed for heavy sea trout fishing in strong winds, large swells with large baits. Its strong backbone tames even salmon, but of course has enough sensitivity to reduce the dropout rate during the fight. Both models are two-piece and have a transport length of 155 cm.

• 338 cm // 10-40 g: The 338 cm model is the longest sea trout rod from the W8 program. It is explicitly designed for heavier sea trout fishing and has a casting weight of 10-40 g. Whether larger lures, heavy surf or stormy winds make fishing difficult, this rod handles it with ease. Due to its incredible power reserves in the backbone, it can even handle larger salmon and in freshwater it will be a delight to all those targetting lake-run browns in alpine lakes. The rod should perhaps rather carry the name catapult, as it transports all baits to the greatest possible distances. It is 4-piece and thus has a pleasant transport length of only 90 cm.
