The SG4 spinning reels also feature a super-strong graphite composite (GRC) body and rotor that offers strength, light weight and corrosion resistance, as well as long life. In-house DuraGrease protects the reel's gears from corrosion and wear, while the 8+1 steel ball bearings inside provide buttery smooth action and make precise retrieves a breeze. The aluminum handle with soft-touch knob ensures the perfect ergonomics when cranking. But that's not all, the technical highlight of this reel is its ultra-smooth friction control braking system, which uses carbon fiber washers that have tremendous power and silky smoothness at the same time. This technology allows for a beast of a max braking force that can be finely adjusted at the same time. So you can adjust your braking force perfectly to fish size and line strength.
