The SG2 is the most affordable reel from Savage Gear. But the price is deceiving, because the reel is packed with great features. The body and rotor are made of a super-strong graphite composite that offers strength, light weight, and corrosion resistance, as well as guarantees long life. Hardly any reel on the market offers so many application-oriented features at a reasonable price as the SG2: The in-house DuraGrease protects the gear from corrosion and wear, the aluminum handle with soft-touch knob ensures perfect ergonomics when cranking, while the 5+1 ball bearings ensure buttery smooth running. When the rod is not set up, the super easy-to-use custom T-line clip holds your line securely. It also comes with a spare graphite spool that can be changed in seconds.
