The Smokin' Swimmer is a brand new softbait with incomparable action. It was developed in very close cooperation between NOIKE and its European partners. After a long testing period on our local predators like perch, zander, pike and co. and numerous prototypes it was finally perfected.
Its strongly curved tail plate provides a unique swimming behavior and the characteristic body action of the lure. Instead of rolling or flanking, the body remains stable and vibrates within itself. In the sinking phases, or when pulled underwater, water resistance pushes the "bent tail" in the opposite direction, causing it to stretch. Unlike other rubber fish, the Smokin' Swimmer creates a pendulum motion. That is, instead of a "left-right", or figure-eight pattern of movement, the tail plate performs a seductive swing.
The motion generated by the tail plate is amplified at the root of the tail, causing the softbait to pulsate all the way to the head. This creates a strong, high-frequency vibration of the entire bait. Predatory fish find this tremor hard to resist.
The Smokin Swimmer fishes perfectly on a jig head or dropshot rig. But also on the Jika RIg and various finesse rigs it can be presented perfectly. For easy rigging of an offsethook the softbait is slotted at the belly and back, perfect for Texas and Carolina rigs. Or: as a trailerbait on a spinnerbait or chatterbait.
Like all other NOIKE rubber baits, the Smokin' Swimmer is salted and heavily flavored with carefully selected natural flavorings based on shrimp and hatchery fish.
