The X-Rap® Otus is a hybrid lure with hard plastic front and soft tail. It is the big brother of the X-Rap Peto and impressively combines Rapala's catchy X-Rap construction with a seamless, perfectly color-coordinated curly tail. This soft crescent tail acts as a kind of parachute during the sinking phases and ensures that the lure sinks slowly and perfectly horizontal. Hence, ideal for shallow water zones and for cold days when fish are a bit more lethargic and prefer slower lures. When cranked in, the body flares on both sides in characteristic "belly flash" action, while the tail pulses seductively, even in the spinstops. You can just reel it in and leave it there every now and then. Often the bite comes right in the retrieve pauses. The soft tail is firmly locked to the body by means of a 6-point stainless steel plate. An additional spare tail is included. Equipped with super sharp Coastal Black™ trebles from VMC®.
