The new Westin W10 Coastal Morning Mist is a braided line that goes one step further! Due to the innovative design, high-quality materials and the know-how of the Scandinavian manufacturer, the line is one of the best lines for sea trout and sea bass fishing on the market!
The braided line is made of Japanese premium ultra-high molecular polyethylene. A total of 13 individual threads are interwoven, with one central thread acting as the base and 12 others braided around this core. This makes the line much rounder and smoother than conventional braided lines. But that's not all: 56 braids every 2.5 cm make the line extra robust and smooth, which not only makes the line last longer, but also allows for longer casts!
It is noticeable that Westin is particularly familiar with inshore fishing for sea trout and adapts the line to the needs of this fishery. The Double Dura-Coating makes the line stiffer, which prevents wind knots, especially on windy days at the coast. Likewise, the coating makes the line smoother and absorbs less water, which allows for very long casts.
