The LMAB Tungsten Drop Shot Tear is a perfect weight for fishing with the Dropshot Rig, is kept in a teardrop shape and convinces with high quality materials, durability and a very good clamping eye for the line.
The weights are made of high-density tungsten. Tungsten as a weight is becoming increasingly popular and offers three major advantages over conventional materials. It has a very high density and can therefore be smaller for the same weight, making it less abrasive. This also makes it sink faster, and its hardness provides better feedback on ground conditions. Further, it is more environmentally friendly than conventionally used lead, which helps us to protect our waters in the long run.
Since dropshot weights are not too complicated in terms of construction, there is really only one factor that is crucial. The clamping eye must function properly. Often inferior clamp eyes will clip the line and the weight is lost.
