The Semperfli Nano Silk Saltwater 100D is a specially developed tying thread for demanding fly tiers who require maximum strength and minimum volume development. Made from high-strength gel-spun polyethylene (GSP), this thread offers an impressive breaking strength of around 5.9 kg (13.1 lb) with a diameter of 6/0 (100 denier). This makes it ideal for making streamers, predator flies and saltwater flies where high loads can occur.
The flat profile of Nano Silk Saltwater 100D enables precise winding without unnecessary material build-up. In addition, the thread is 100 % rot-resistant and does not absorb water, which extends the durability of the flies in saltwater.
