The Coataed Shooting Line from Scierra has a very supple core and shoots through the rings with little friction. The two-colour construction of this running line makes it easier to recognise the transition to the shooting head and lets you judge distances better. A functional feature of this price-performance winner! Thanks to a welded loop, setting up this shooting line is particularly easy and quick. The low-stretch core inside this Coated Running Line improves control when presenting your fly and allows for immediate hook setting.
The 30lbs (1mm diameter) variant is the ideal choice for combining with double handed shooting heads and the Salmon fishery. This running line lies super stable in the air and allows for nice loops and an extremely precise presentation. The 20lbs variant (diameter of 0.9mm) is optimal for coastal fishing and is best combined with single-handed shooting heads.
