The Scierra Brook series has been developed for fishing dry flies in brooks, creeks and small rivers with limited casting space. Featuring a deeply loading action with medium fast recovery the Brook already responds with only a few meters of line outside the tip-top-guide and produces very delicate presentations at close to medium range or 3m to 15m out. Thereby the Scierra Brook covers THE most fished distances representing an ideal companion when fishing dry flies in tight spaces. The deep, bendy action is a lot of fun even when playing small fish and does an excellent job dampening headshakes of trophy trout on light tippets.
Due to the pleasing outcome of the shorter models Scierra decided to add a few longer models for larger waters to the range – while maintaining the feeling and performance at close to medium range. For fans of modern nymphing techniques like high-sticking or other tight line methods Scierra also offers a 10ft version that delivers lightly weighted nymphs and rigs accurately.
The Scierra Brook is a fantastic choice for targeting trout, grayling and char with dry flies and nymphs in smaller waters.
