Scierra's Big Fly II is a modern pike line, the short tapered WF line with an aggressive front taper has a sink3 rate and is therefore ideal for fishing in deeper parts of the lake or drop offs - where the biggest pike are usually found.
The length of the head is 11.3m and shifts most of the weight to the front part of the body. An ideal setup for all situations where you want to get a good load into the blank of your rod with only little line outside the tip. And even if you are struggling with wind or have little room to cast, this line is a great help to transport your fly and get it to the target with pinpoint accuracy. The Big Fly II sinks about 7.5 cm per second and is equipped with a clean loop for easy and quick connection to a leader. The entire line is olive coloured and has a smooth coating.
