Manufactured with the new DuraCoat technology, these fly lines feature an advanced dual-polymer design that optimizes line stiffness, abrasion resistance, and slickness. The supple core minimizes memory effects and ensures superior tensile strength, while the robust outer layer enhances slickness, stiffness, and durability. CFT = Clear Floating Technology uses natural buoyancy polymers in the coating to optimize the floatation of the transparent coating.
In addition to DuraCoat, the slickness is further improved thanks to the sustainably produced EST+ Slickness Additive, which provides added protection and gives the Magnitude fly lines unmatched durability and effortless shooting ability.
Designed for extremely stealthy dry fly presentations, the Scientific Anglers Magnitude Trout Floating 10' Clear Tip features a 3.05-meter clear yet floating tip section. This ensures success even with wary fish or in heavily fished waters. The Trout variant of the Magnitude Smooth also has a longer head that provides excellent casting stability—even at long distances. The extended head also allows easy correction during the drift with gentle mending.
Shooting Texture: Thanks to small dimples on the surface, friction in the guides is minimized while increasing the line’s surface area. As a result, the lines shoot better, float higher, and are generally easier to cast. Compared to the old Sharkskin lines, they are much quieter during the cast. Additionally, the durability of the running lines is greatly enhanced.
