Product information "Scientific Anglers Knot2Kinky Premium Wire Leader"
Knot2Kinky nickel-titanium wire is our most favourite bite guards for toothy critters! It is flexible, absolutely kink-free and the durability / fishability outstands regular bite tippets by far....
Combined with Scientific Anglers' Leaders you will get one of the most premium ready-to-go leader for pikes and other predators. You can choose between a tapered monofilament (Toothy Fish) or straight fluorocarbon (Esox / Figure 8) for the main part connection to your fly line. We tend to use the shorter straight ones for intermediate / sinking lines, while the Toothy Fish provides a more smooth and accurate turnover together with more stealthy fishery in clear conditions.
Compared to the Esox, the Figure 8 is shorter and stronger – originally designed for heavy Musky action. It is common to strip the line almost to the tip of your rod (that's why it is shorter) and then make an 8 movement with the tip in front of you waiting for the splash of a followed fish. Also recommended for your backyard pikes!
Every leader comes with a loop to attach it to any looped fly line and with a solid Stay-Lok Snap for switching flies with an ease. There's no single thing we would change on these Predator Leaders!

More information about pike leaders on adh-world:
„Have you ever had bloody experiences with pike teeth? These razor blades cut skin with ease and so they do with every normal tippet material. Besides getting angry about loosing flies, the real damage goes to the pike which might die with a big streamer blocking its mouth. At least that fact should motivate everyone to rig up suitable when fishing pike waters. But which leader setup is the right one?“
