Like all Amplitude fly lines, the Amplitude Smooth Strategic series is equipped with AST+ (Advanced Shooting Technology). This additive is integrated into the line and ensures a smooth surface even after extended use. This is made possible through diffusion, meaning the additive can migrate from the inside of the coating to the surface, continually maintaining it – much like how human skin self-lubricates. The result is a line that stays smooth 60% longer and creates 40% less drag than comparable lines on the market.
